Experience.....Lochside House

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Lochside House Hotel and hope that your visit will be an enjoyable one. The Lochside House Hotel was built during the late 19th century by the Marquis of Bute and used as a shooting lodge.

Set within 20 acres of land and overlooking two Lochs to each side, the hotel boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and local 9 hole golf course. Lochside House Hotel is ideally situated for people wishing to tour Ayrshire and the outlying districts.
The hotel was taken over in 1999 by Robert and Vivien Kyle and was extensively extended and refurbished to achieve a Four star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.

Congratulations to Lynsey McKelvie

Lochside House Hotel celebrates as their wedding co-ordinator Lynsey McKelvie was awarded the VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier) Scottish Wedding Venue Co-ordinator 2009 award.

The VOWS Awards are Scotland’s only Wedding Industry Awards and have been established to set and recognise the exceptional level of service that so many wedding suppliers offer and so many couples talk about in years to come. Lochside are proud to have been nominated for four consecutive years and hope to continue our success into 2010.

The award is made more special as only the previous years Brides & Grooms can nominate. For further information on nominating the suppliers who have exceeded your expectations click here.
